One of Australia's leading employers in the food industry have an exciting full time career opportunity for a suitably experienced Industrial Relations Coordinator.

This is a fast paced role which will require excellent time management and task prioritization skills.

Reporting to the National IR Manager, the local IR Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Overseeing and coordinating all local recruitment to various local sites
  • Overseeing the agency incoming staff and transfers of existing staff
  • Managing compliance and regular monitoring of the internal systems
  • Facilitating the performance management, disciplinary process and appraisal processes on site
  • Documenting employee grievances and conducting workplace investigations
  • Providing guidance and advice to management and employees on site relating to industrial relations matters
  • Participating in and coordinating Enterprise Agreement negotiations and vote processes

    To be considered for the role, candidates will possess:
  • A HR qualification is desirable, however not essential if there is a proven history in the field and an interest in the area
  • Previous experience in a HR role. A similar background will be highly regarded
  • The ability to meet the companies recruitment procedures and biosecurity requirements

  • Excellent people skills with the ability to liaise with personnel at all levels
  • Highly motivated and proactive with the ability to manage and prioritise daily/weekly/monthly tasks

  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Critical thinking skills with an evidence based and systematic approach to problem solving
