Chandler Macleod, on behalf of our client, are seeking experienced applicants for Part Time Human Resources Administration Officer.

Hours: The role is part time, 3 days per week (24 hours) however our client is looking for flexibility to work up to 5 days per week as and when required.

Tenure: The role is temporary until 30 June 2022

Key accountabilities:

  • Provide administrative support for HR functions and processes relevant to the employee lifecycle: recruitment and selection, onboarding/offboarding, inductions, performance reviews.
  • Review and update policies, procedures and other documents that support the Human Resource services at Council.
  • Investigate, assess and recommend methods for monitoring and improving the outcomes and compliance of HR processes.
  • Administer the bi-annual corporate uniform program and process orders as required. Maintain reconciliation spreadsheet for staff subsidies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective Human Resource service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and timely content management of relevant registers, systems, and hard copy files to control personnel information.
  • Previous experience with HRIS or e-recruitment systems, previous experience with ELMO desirable
  • Deliver recruitment services: drafting advertising material, posting jobs, managing candidate enquiries, organising and undertaking interviews, arranging pre-employment medicals and background checks
