Why the team needs you
As the Human Resource Advisor, you will provide expert business partnering on a range of human resource planning, consultancy, advisory and support services for operational delivery of human resources services as well as;
  • Provide expert and timely strategic and operational human resources advice, guidance and support to management and staff in accordance with legislation
  • Provide expert advice and support that promotes and influences the development of human resource management capability of managers to enable a more engaged and positive workforce culture.
  • Provide strategic and operational advice and support organisational change projects and processes.
  • Identify develop and promote better practice and quality improvement approaches current processes, systems and policy frameworks that enable the continuous improvement and delivery of contemporary HR management.
  • Research, interpret, analyse, and provide advice on workforce and organisational information/data that enables business outcomes.
  • Actively participate and contribute as a partner and team player of the Workforce team to enable key Workforce priorities, projects and service deliverable be achieved.
What you'll bring to the team.
It is essential that you are collaborative and possess exceptional communication skills which enables you to strengthen the HR environment from compliance to Culture, Reward Recognition, Workforce planning and Recruitment

Your key to success will be your highly developed analytical skills and business acumen and possess a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or equivalent as well as;
  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources Management, Employee Relations, or other relevant field and/or professional experience in human resources management in a large and complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in generalist workforce/human resources functions, including change management, industrial consultation, grievance and disciplinary management, performance management and development.
  • Proven ability to apply knowledge of employment legislation, awards, policy, and best practice relating to human resources and industrial relations to identify and resolve complex human resources issues with the ability to prepare detailed and
    structured correspondence, statements, briefs, reports, and formal documents
  • Detailed knowledge of contemporary Human Resources management functions and ability to provide expert and timely strategic and operational human resources advice, guidance and support to management and staff in accordance with legislation, Award and policies and the ability to consult, negotiate and delegate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities to ensure quality outcomes and timely delivery of services
  • Highly developed and effective management and conflict resolution skills including industrial advocacy skills.
  • Current Drivers Licence and ability to travel as required.
