Our Client is in the process of recruiting to fill a full time position of Hub Manager to oversee their three new stores starting up in the area.

In this operationally focused position, the Hub Manager will be responsible for assisting in setting up the stores and overseeing the operations to grow profitability.

The daily duties of the Hub Manager will include:

  • Manage and grow profitability
  • Working with all stakeholders to develop budgets
  • Maintaining monthly budget targets within the Hub
  • Ensuring all staff and volunteers are adequately inducted to the workplace
  • Ensuring appropriate staffing arrangements are in place
  • Keeping record of attendance and hours worked for all personnel and processing records in accordance with reporting requirements
  • Providing appropriate management, training, supervision and guidance to all staff and volunteers
  • Completing performance reviews with direct report
  • Managing WHS

    To be successful in this role, the Hub Manager will have:
  • Experience in managing a retail outlet including responsibility for merchandising, staffing, accounting, customer/supplier relations and profitability
  • Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to build trust and respect
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including conflict resolution
  • The ability to develop and maintain a team
  • The ability to maintain a high level of customer service
  • The ability to work with limited supervision and priorities workloads
  • Cultural sensitivity and diversity awareness
  • Knowledge of shop presentation and cleanliness
  • An understanding of shop operational systems
