Our client:

Is an engineering company and are currently seeking a permanent HSE Manger to oversee two sites reporting directly into the General Manager.

The HSE Manager has one direct report and is responsible for Health Safety and environmental compliance across the business.

The key function of this highly visible role will ensure the administration of the company employee policy and code of conduct together with rules of safety and compliance with all national legislation.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Establish and maintain Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental policies & procedures
  • Monitors employee Health & Safety regulations and legislative changes
  • Ensure timely setting and completion of safety KPIs
  • Coordinates and conducts safety training
  • Establish long term safety program
  • Review of safety aspects
  • Worker's rehabilitation & workers compensation management
  • New employee safety induction & assessment

The successful candidate will bring a sound knowledge of all the above and bring a focus on leading successful safety outcomes.

In addition you will bring:

  • Degree in relate field
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in OHSE, manufacturing related
