Our client:

Is a well established logistics company who has seen unprecedented growth over the last decade and has teams Australia wide.

Currently they are seeking an HR Manager to provide advisory support and leadership to the Australian operation. This highly visible position will suit a seasoned HR Professional who is hands on and possesses strong IR capabilities.

Responsible for driving the people strategy and supporting the executive teams you will be a critical part of the growing business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Workforce planning
  • Coordination of recruitment & selection
  • Development & maintenance of HR policies & procedures
  • Performance management
  • Employee relations
  • Training & development
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise agreements & modern awards
  • Coach leaders
  • Development of learning & development strategies

What you need to succeed:

  • Tertiary degree qualified in human resources, industrial relations, or related field; or equivalent education and experience
  • HR leadership experience within a service operations business (minimum 2 to 5 years) and ideally with specific experience working with a unionised workforce
  • Well developed knowledge of industrial relations legislation, employment awards and human resources principles and practices
  • High levels of customer service
  • Knowledge and understanding of HSEQ legislation/ policies and procedures relating to area of responsibility
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
