We are currently seeking for a HR Advisor - Projects on behalf of our client based in Brisbane CBD to provide accurate HR advice to Group Manager and Line Managers.

About the role:

As the HR Advisor, you will have responsibility for the following:

  • Provide accurate HR advice to Group Managers and Line Managers on all employment relations and industrial relations matters in line with client's policies and procedures and applicable industrial instruments;
  • Assist in the delivery of an efficient and effective recruitment process;
  • Coordinate case management, workplace investigations and performance management processes and relevant communication;
  • Assist with workforce planning and strategic HR initiatives;
  • Assist with yearly reporting activities, including the WGEA report and engagement survey;
  • Implement the clients award and recognition program;
  • Generate documentation, including appointment letters, contracts, reports, notes, submissions and other correspondence, which is legally compliant;
  • Administer the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

About You:

As an experienced HR Advisor, you will

  • 3-5 years' experience as a HR Generalist with experience in medium to large organisation;
  • Degree qualifications in Human Resource Management or related disciplines;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of current HR and IR legislative requirements;
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to manage workload, meet deadlines and ensure accuracy;
  • Ability to interpret awards and relevant legislation;
  • Customer service focus with solid work ethic;
  • Strong understanding of privacy and confidentiality;
