Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a HR advisor with recruitment experience on a Non-ongoing for 12 months contract, option for extension.

Position Overview

Recruitment Specialists are responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies, policy and procedures for use across the Department. They work closely with key stakeholders to facilitate recruitment activity and provide subject matter expertise to support business to meet their workforce needs compliant with relevant legislation and policy. They provide consistent, streamlined recruitment advice and service, and have responsibility to design and deliver specialist recruitment campaigns, informed by workforce planning strategy and identified workforce needs. This includes entry level pathways for graduates, indigenous employees, cadets and apprentices to meet Departmental and whole of government targets, in consultation with business areas. Recruitment specialists must have a good understanding of the current employment environment, departmental priorities and contemporary recruitment developments.
