Our client:

Is a well-established manufacturing company based South of the river, currently they are seeking an HR Advisor to cover a maternity leave on an12-18 month contract.

Key accountabilities include:Job advertising

  • Screening of job applications
  • Shortlisting candidates
  • Phone screening
  • Assisting with interviews
  • Arranging psychometric testing, medicals and referencing
  • General reporting
  • Advice on IR matters
  • Oversee employee benefit schemes
  • Preparation of offers of employment
  • Exit interviews

Experience & skills required:

  • Degree qualified or post graduate diploma in HR, IR or similar
  • Extensive experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience of contemporary HR practices and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret awards & enterprise agreements
  • Demonstrated competence in conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
