We are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor for our client based in Leonora.

The ideal candidate will be doing the following:
The experienced HR Advisor will be joining the Gwalia team on a 4-days on, 3-days off roster FIFO out of Perth. The HR Advisor is responsible for the provision of human resource advice and activities on site, ensuring the Company, management and its employees are supported to achieve strategic and performance objectives.

Other duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing guidance and support to leaders to implement fair and effective performance management practices;
  • Conducting workplace investigations and managing complaints in compliance with legislation, and in accordance with policy and procedures;
  • Assisting leaders to ensure disciplinary action is delivered in compliance with legislation, and in accordance with policy and procedures;
  • Coaching and developing major stakeholders;
  • Managing Employee Relations;
  • Developing and managing performance management processes;
  • Implementing, administering and monitoring personal effectiveness programs;
  • Processing and managing all Project employee & employer-initiated terminations;
  • Supporting recruitment, workforce planning, retention strategies and activities;
  • Reviewing, developing and implementing HR/ER policies and procedures;
  • Provide HR reporting to the Leaders and Client; and
  • Conduct HR systems (SuccessFactors) training.

    The ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • Well established experience in a similar role, preferably within a mining environment;
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources or equivalent;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best HR/ER practices and employment legislation;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence;
  • SuccessFactors experience would be advantageous.
