About our Client
Provides support for people aged 65 years or older, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 50 years and older. Services assist individuals to remain active in their own home for as long as possible, and are designed with the individual, to meet their interests and needs, while promoting and respecting their rights to independence, dignity and confidentiality. All services are delivered in line with a wellness approach, meaning assistance is provided to help clients do things, rather than doing it for them.

About the Role
The Home Care Home Care Manager works under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer to manage the delivery of services to eligible consumers under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Home Care Packages. You will:

  • Implement Policies and Procedures relevant to the delivery of care
  • Ensure, in coordination with the Clinical Governance Committee, the ongoing audit of the Policies and Procedures as per the audit plan
  • Be responsible, for the development and implementation of administrative and information systems
  • Ensure programs run effectively and efficiently on a day-to-day basis
  • Be responsible for the financial management of programs including the presentation of a budget and financial reports in liaison with the Administration Team
  • Promote safety by following WH&S and legislative requirements and guidelines
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by involvement in and organisation of staff meetings, planning days, and feedback mechanisms
  • Participate in education and training opportunities.

  • Registered Nurse
  • Knowledge of relevant community resources
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
