Our client a well-known government organisation is seeking an experienced Health Manager to oversee multiple mental health projects. The position will be for 6 to 12 months located in either Port Macquarie or Coffs Harbour.

If you are a high performing individual, with a solution focused approach, have strong stakeholder engagement skills, team oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (orally, written and presentational), with proven background and experience in working effectively at customer and or community level, and be confident ensuring project deliverables are managed effectively then please apply.

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain effective relationships and communication with all stakeholders to ensure that corporate goals and priorities of the business are met
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business plans
  • Ability to develop, monitor and reach predicted outcomes to strategic and business plans
  • Highly developed and effective negotiation and delegation skills
  • Managing a number of tasks concurrently, with varying timelines and workloads, in a high pressure, high volume work environment
  • Responding to service demands within allocated resources

    Selection Criteria
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or extensive relevant experience in a large and diverse service industry organisation, or a combination of study and work experience.
  • Demonstrated excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills including highly developed ability to consult, negotiate and delegate effectively with a diverse range of people.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and complex problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities to ensure quality outcomes and timely delivery of services.
  • Highly developed and effective management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Advanced computer skills utilising varied and appropriate software programs (e.g. word processing, data management systems and spreadsheets).
  • Current Driver's Licence and ability to travel as required.
