  • Lead the Accounting team and function
    The company:

    The role:
    The Group Accountant would present as a mature, seasoned operator in Commercial accounting with a broad range of experience, and provide business critical functions, including:
    1. Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts, including intercompany loan reconciliations, payroll tax calculations, debtor and creditor balance checks, depreciation calculations.
    2. Preparation and lodgement of GST related reports including Business Activity Statements
    3. Preparation of monthly stocktake calculations
    4. Preparation and lodgement of Single Touch Payroll reports
    5. Working closely with management on product costing and calculations
    6. General oversight of accounting functions

    Additional responsibilities entail broader group Finance functions to support Business Owner in relation to budgeting, forecasting, board reporting, month end reporting and accruals.
    The person:
    Degree qualified Bachelor of Accounting.
    CPA or CA Qualification
    Advanced Excel, and Xero experience preferred
    Several years' experience performing a similar function in a fast paced, manufacturing, or agricultural growth business
