Our client AGL Energy are on the lookout for an experienced Go To Market Lead to join them on a 3 month contract whilst permanent recruitment activities are in progress. The Go To Market Lead role will be responsible for the cohesive and seamless delivery of a range of new initiatives by aligning our cross functional activities and keeping the customer at the center of all we do.

You will work closely with a range of stakeholders, primarily within Customer Channels, Customer Strategy & Marketing, and Product & Portfolio teams to acquire, grow and retain customers. You will be a fast learner with a data-informed mindset, a solution-led approach, a can-do attitude, comfortable with ambiguity and have an affinity to deliver within the ambiguity.

Key accountabilities of this role

  • Go to Market Planning: Work with the Channels & Marketing Planning Manager to develop the Go to Market plan for AGL's customer growth activities, on a quarterly and annual basis ensuring strategic, commercial and business targets are met
  • Initiative delivery: Own, manage and adjust variations to the GTM plan, developing & applying quality measures including risk issues and dependency management
  • Build Adoption: Together with Key stakeholders, develop & monitor performance reporting and targets using performance data to drive commercial outcomes and ROI
  • Leadership: Create highly engaged and collaborative cross functional Go To Market delivery teams

Qualifications, key skills and experience required

  • Minimum of 5 years function experience in program or project management/ go to market or a marketing planning role
  • Experience working with Agile methodology (SAFe exposure a bonus)
  • Ability to implement and use key financial criteria when recommending initiative and prioritisation decisions
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills and is confidently able to communicate with cross functional teams
  • Utility domain experience advantageous
  • Strong understanding of business drivers and general business management
  • Experience in leading teams and inspiring high levels of employee performance beneficial
