Freight Administrator

Purpose of Role

Performing daily freight office activities concerning freight invoice reconciliation, ad-hoc jobs scope, financial and admin reporting. Ensure Freight Office processes are deployed and followed and accurate reporting and management of 3PL accounts occurs in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities to deliver value to our customers

Daily Operations

  • Daily reconciliation of Carrier manifest, upload in TMS and create Carrier Tracking Report (CTR)
  • Daily Despatch report from various WMS reports
  • Finalised manifest sent to carriers for invoicing on a weekly basis
  • Sending carrier invoices to AP for payment processing
  • Weekly interstate report & space report
  • Following up and Investigate with AP on missing or unpaid invoices
  • Following up with Carriers for Credits and process on timely manner
  • Processing manual invoices with accurate coding
  • Assist pallet control team with data entry if and when required
  • Other adhoc duties as requested

Knowledge & Experience

  • Adapt to fast paced continuous changes as per business requirements
  • Understanding of basics of retail Supply Chain, Transport and Logistics preferred
  • Experience in administrative or office roles is desirabl
