Chandler Macleod are now taking applications for an experienced Forklift Operator at our client site in Laverton North. As one of Australia’s largest poultry producers, our client is well known for its production of premium products. With a passion for innovation and to satisfy Australia’s growing appetite, we are always on the lookout for reliable and motivated staff to join the team.

Must be comfortable to work with chicken products.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Palletizing finished product
• Allocating pallets to the appropriate areas
• Assisting with loading of trucks
• Stocktaking
• Using pallet jacks to manoeuvre resources around the workplace
• Working in a refrigerated environment
• Undertaking repetitive manual-handling oriented tasks whilst adhering to strict policies, procedures and timeframes

What do we need from you?
• A current Forklift Licence
• Previous experience working in a similar role
• A reliable vehicle and drivers licence
• Be comfortable working in Freezers

Day and Afternoon shift available. Day shift starting from 6:30am and Afternoon starting from 2:30pm, shifts generally 8 hours in duration.
