Chandler Macleod are seeking experienced yard forklift operators for roles in Unanderra, Wollongong area, operating a range of plant equipment.

This position is day shift working in a Steel Recycling yard for one of Australia's largest producers of Steel.

Regular daily and Saturday overtime available. Shifts generally are commencing at 7am to 330pm.
These are potentially temp to permanent positions for the right candidates.

We are seeking reliable, self thinking and committed candidates seeking a long term position.

Being outdoors you need to be prepared to work in all weather conditions , these role are very different from working in a warehouse environment.

Tasks will include:

* Extensive experience operating a Forklift
* Sorting metals Weighing and recording
* Loading and Unloading trucks
* Work safely to WHS standards
* Work unsupervised


Ideally we are looking for someone who:
* Has experience operating forklifts in various environments including a recycling yard or with the Steel Industry
* Shows initiative and enjoys a team environment
* Has an LF Forklift license and at least 2 years experience
* Be reliable
* Excavator experience preferred
