Chandler Macleod, partnering with a major FMCG company, is on the lookout for a PM Maintenance Electrician. This is a permanent position located on-site at Mill Park, with a contract offered to the most suitable candidate.
Experience within the FMCG Industry is imperative. Sound understanding of FMCG plant lines and preventative works will be looked upon favorably.
The successful applicant will be working alongside the PM Maintenance Fitter, ensuring all preventative maintenance and scheduled shut-downs are completed efficiently, properly and safely.

An overview of day-to-day tasks:

  • Ensure compliance with site safety, health and environmental requirements
  • Proactively identify & coordinate preventative maintenance across the site
  • Responsible for completion of planned maintenance tasks to ensure breakdowns are prioritised to meet production needs
  • Provide technical support & training to machine operators for basic troubleshooting
  • To provide detailed account of all work performed
  • Support continuous improvement/project implementation
  • Investigate plant or equipment deficiencies that lead to out-of-spec finished goods

    About You:
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude coupled with a great work ethic
  • Experience with electrical repairs, equipment failures & fault finding
  • Able to repair, change and improve machinery while ensuring safety and anti-contamination principles are followed.
  • You will have a sound understanding of pneumatic systems, electrical drawings, PLC controls, variable speed drives and general mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
  • Commit to 5 day PM roster (MON - FRI)
