Chandler Macleod, in partnership with Infrabuild are currently seeking Trade Qualified Fitters for their site located at Mayfield in a steel processing, pre-fabrication, distribution and fixed/mobile plant facility..

This position is a casual position offering ongoing day shifts, with full time hours and overtime.

Experience Required:
  • Installation of bearings and seals
  • Power transmission, V belts and chain drives
  • Gearbox rebuilds and overhauls
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
  • Pump rebuilding
  • Lubrication fundamentals
  • Desired Tickets: Forklift, Confined Space, EWP

Responsibilities for the role:
  • Overhauling fixed plant and machinery
  • Troubleshooting issues and prevention maintenance
  • Regular plant inspections, noting defects and alerting supervisors of potential hazards
  • Application of out of service locks and personal locks
