Chandler Macleod are currently looking for a Trade Qualified Maintenance Fitter for our steel manufacturing client located in Mayfield.

This position is casual position offering ongoing day shifts, with full time hours and overtime.

What's on offer?
  • Mon - Friday roster
  • Day shift 6am-2:30pm
  • $47 an hour plus penalties

Experience Required:
  • Installation of bearings and seals
  • Power transmission, V belts and chain drives
  • Gearbox rebuilds and overhauls
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic
  • Pump rebuilding
  • Lubrication fundamentals
  • Desired Tickets: Forklift, Confined Space, EWP

Responsibilities for the role:
  • Overhauling fixed plant and machines
  • Troubleshooting issues
  • Prevention maintenance
