Operations Planner/Scheduler

An opportunity exists for an experienced Field Metering Operations Planner to join one of Australia's leading utility services based in South East Melbourne for a minimum 3-month contract starting immediately.

  • Location - Beaconsfield
  • Hours - 25-37 hours a week, flexible
  • Pay rate - $25-30 + super hourly

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Operations Planner is to:

  • Plan and schedule field metering workflow.
  • Vetting of tasks prior to issuing to field to ensure customer details are correct, access is readily available, key task information is clearly understood and the booking of appointments.
  • Provide assistance via telephone and other relevant electronic media to Metering Installers once all work has been deployed as well as throughout the fieldwork execution process.
  • Help manage (if required) stock levels of Field Metering stock.
  • Provide any required administration support to ensure the schedule of works meets KPI's requirements.
  • Develop and maintain good customer relations by providing professional customer service at all times.
  • Be innovative toward and actively participate in tracking, measuring and reporting field team productivity as well as supporting local management improve back office support for the entire field metering team operating in VIC, SA and TAS.
  • Perform other duties as directed by company management from time to time.
  • Contribute to and implement continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of the team's process flow.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Minimum 1-year relevant experience in similar environment
  • Advanced Excel skill knowledge required
  • SAP knowledge is preferred not essential
  • Current drivers' licence
