About the organisation:
Chandler Macleod is proudly recruiting for a Government organisation that aims to deliver Victoria's largest road project. The VPS3 Facilities Support Officer will work within a division that provides high quality customer focused corporate support to enable functions including management, finance, audits and compliance.

About the role:
The VPS3 Facilities Support Officer will provide excellent customer service, provide building services maintenance, liaise with stakeholders and work collaboratively with Facilities and IT Services.
Other responsibilities may include:

  • Effectively maintain stationery and kitchen supply inventory.
  • Provide office, building services/maintenance and business support to staff
  • Liaise with key stakeholders at various levels in a professional and friendly manner to support the achievement of team objectives.
  • Establish and initiate improvements to Facilities practices and work on small projects within different teams to support the implementation, delivery and review of new systems and processes.
  • Ensuring that all aspects of the buildings are well-presented, attractive and welcoming to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver a range of accommodation requirements, including the planning of movements, desk relocation and refurbishment activities in a manner consistent with documented processes.
  • Manage data entry activities for managing assets, security pass allocation and scheduled audits


About you:
Ideally you will have demonstrated experience working in a similar facilities role as well as:

  • Sound organisational and adminstration skills
  • Actively seek to meet customer needs and provide exceptional service
  • Communicate efficiently using good command of English language, both written and spoken
  • Able to work collaboratively with others in pursit of team goals
  • Able to work independantly, underpressure and meet deadlines
  • Seek ways to improve services and deliver high quality outcomes for clients
  • Have an understanding of back office policies and processes
