Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Executive Assistant on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.

Position Purpose

We are seeking senior and highly organised Executive Assistant (EA) and administration officer to join the department. You will be able to work very independently and have a proactive mind set.

As an Executive Assistant, you will assist the Branch Manager in fulfilling their responsibilities. You will have an intimate knowledge of the work undertaken by the NDIA or the ability to quickly gain this knowledge in order to provide high level administrative support and anticipate the needs of your Branch Manager and other key staff of the Leadership Team.

The role may evolve to include additional business area specific tasks depending on the direction of the line area over time.


Under limited direction, the Executive Assistant will provide high level administrative; secretarial and research support to the Director including:

  • Assistance with Pricing related ministerial correspondences
  • Secretariat support for the Pricing Reference Group, Annual Pricing Review and other Pricing-related activities. This includes informing members of upcoming meetings, sending out documents for the meetings as well as processing payments for members
  • Input information into the appropriate document format and save in the appropriate systems
  • Additional duties as directed by the Branch Manager
