Chandler Macleod is currently recruiting for an experienced Events Coordinator to join a leading Federal Government agency. This is an immediate start with a contract term of 12 months.

About the Role:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Working with the Leadership Team to identify key opportunities for appropriate attendance at events to inform a proactive events strategy.
  • Managing a forward planned events calendar, ensuring representation is aligned to the corporate plan and in line with the business strategic engagement approach.
  • Providing local logistical event management, assisting in the preparation and logistics of a range of events for the business including sessions, forums, conferences and webinars.
  • Providing support to manage the email inbox, acting as a point of escalation for the triaging of events and third party event requests.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to promote the NDIS, identifying opportunities to represent the business in interactions with key stakeholders and public facing events.
  • Liaising with and helping to coordinate external supplies in accordance with deadlines, resources, budgets, contracts and policies.
  • Assuming responsibility for data management including the collation of stakeholder mapping and reporting of feedback, identifying associated risks and trends to assist forward planning and informed deliverables.
  • Providing content for briefing and event related documents, undertaking research and supporting the delivery of materials for strategic projects.

About You:
To succeed in this role, you will be a skilled coordinator, a team player, highly organised and motivated with a demonstrated ability to work flexibly and to tight deadlines. Further to this, to be considered for the role you will also need:

  • Tertiary education in a relevant field and/or recent work experience in a similar role.
  • Experience within a Government Department will be highly regarded but is not essential.
