Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS5 Evaluation Administrative Support Officer on a contract for 6 months with potential extension of 6 months.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Support program policy monitoring
  • Provide secretariat support as required by assisting in meeting coordination, preparing agendas and taking minutes
  • Provide general administrative support to the Employment Services Evaluation Director and team
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from internal and external stakeholders.

Required capabilities, experience and/or qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following capabilities/experience and/or qualifications:


  • Experience supporting program policy monitoring and/or evaluation
  • High level administration and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Proven judgement and decision-making abilities
  • Demonstrated high-level communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Remaining positive and respond to pressures in a calm manner, identify issues and escalate appropriately.


  • Knowledge of employment services programs
  • Secretariat or administrative experience
  • Proven understanding of government processes
  • Experience and understanding in managing government procurement and financial processes

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have a Baseline security clearance.
