Our client is recruiting an Estimator to join their growing team based at the Gold Coast.

About the role

This is a contract position offered initially until June 2021, however does have potential to extend for the right applicant.

Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to assist with the growth and development of the specification and estimation team. This will be a Monday to Friday position, responsible for completing total costs estimations on civil construction projects throughout the Gold Coast.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop pricing and project schedules
  • Provide accurate cost estimates for scope of works
  • Liaise and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, supervisors and builders
  • Complete take-offs and quantity surveys

About You

  • Relevant tertiary education or significant experience in a similar role
  • Demonstratable construction methodology/civil construction estimation experience
  • Ability to identify potential design/pricing concerns and provide workable solutions
  • Experienced civil construction professional with confidence and ability to obtain timely quotes and provide accurate estimations
