Our client:

As a leading supplier of high-quality vibrating equipment to the resources industry our client brings a wealth of expertise to the Australian market gained over many years. Due to growth in the business they are seeking an experienced Equipment Specialist who will be responsible for the delivery of exceptional Services as part of the Engineering team.

The Equipment Specialist will oversee workshop testing, installation, commissioning and Service of Projects to key clients.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to improve customer satisfaction and relationship
  • Commissioning of new or refurbish Vibrating Screens on customer sites in Australia & Abroad.
  • Site inspections & Check measures for new and replacement Screens
  • Factory Acceptance Testing of new equipment in the workshop
  • Development of Procedures and Standards for Testing & Equipment usage.
  • Champion Electronic based reporting for FAT, Commissioning etc
  • Maintain information relating to Equipment testing utilising the company ERP system and other Document management systems
  • Develop training requirements of Service & Site personnel in line with Company and Client requirements
  • Cooperate with Sales & Service teams and share information across the organisation.
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings

Skills and experience:

  • Mechanical Engineering/Trade qualification with a minimum 5 years experienced with Vibrating Screens operation, maintenance & applications
  • Condition monitoring experience in vibration analysis of Vibrating Screens (VB7 / systems 1 equipment and software knowledge preferred but not essential)
  • Technical Report writing
  • Supervision of trades personnel in both in a workshop and site-based environment, performing assembly and installations
  • Project management

Please note that domestic and international travel is required, often on short notice
You will be required to hold a current C class license / Clean driving licence and a valid Australian Passport
