Our client is seeking to engage an Equality Project Manager on a contract until January 2023 with potential extension/permanency.

With plans in place to hire a permanent full time RAP Lead, our client is looking for interim support, alongside consultants, to bring our RAP to life over the remainder of the fiscal year.

Reporting to Senior Director, Program/Project Management (Sustainability, Skills & Reconciliation) you will primarily support the RAP Governance commitments and overall program success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop an ongoing RAP Management Plan and maintain RAP Terms of Reference including ensuring First Nations voices are represented in all Governance Groups.
  • Co-ordinate and develop materials (PowerPoint, Slack Posts, Agendas & Minutes) for all the RAP Governance Groups (Executive Group, Working Group, Local Implementation Group and First Nations External Advisory).
  • Partner with RAP Working Group stream leaders (from Marketing, Communications, Events, Procurement, Real Estate, Worldwide Indigenous Network of Diversity (WINDforce), Alliances & Channels, Employee Success) to identify room for improvement and ensure delivery.
  • Develop overarching reporting frameworks and processes to track progression of the RAP.
  • Manage consultants and internal stakeholder to design and implement RAP Commitments 1.1 and 1.2 (Engagement Principles & Strategy).
  • Support the onboarding and management of First Nations External Advisory (contracting with legal and procurement).
  • Partner with Communications to develop an internal and external communications strategy for the RAP.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • A successful track record of project managing initiatives with tangible outcomes in ambiguity with multiple stakeholders in a highly matrixed and fast-growing organisation.
  • Experience building trusted relationships with senior leaders. Ability to influence the business to increase leadership commitment and accountability for Equality efforts.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with strong attention to detail and a solutions mindset to deliver outcomes on time and in full.
  • Highly effective communication (both written and verbal), PowerPoint, analytical and reporting skills.
