About the role
We are partnering with a WA global industry leader in bauxite, alumina and aluminium products, to secure the services of an Environmental Advisor for their refinery located in the Peel region, with the flexibility of working location to be split between their Perth SOR office and site 3/2 days per week.

This is a 12 month contract, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Reporting to the Regional Approvals Manager, core activities include:

  • Coordinating internal review processes and tracking of Part IV approvals documentation
  • Understanding environmental sensitivities and project drivers and work with engineering, operational and corporate affairs teams on mitigation controls
  • Drafting EMPs and content of mitigation/control components of construction methodologies
  • Supporting operational and engineering team inputs and review of Part IV documentation
  • Coordination of inputs and responses to Public comments

To be successful in this role, you will require the following:

  • Environmental Engineering/Science Bachelors degree
  • 3-5 years experience in energy/resources industry/environmental consulting
  • Experience supporting Part IV approvals/environmental impact assessment essential; plus Part V site compliance and/or risk assessments preferred
  • Strong organisational and excel skills essential
  • Provide a current Drivers Licence
