About the role
We are partnering with a WA renowned organisation to secure the services of an experienced Engineering Lead for allocate capital projects to deliver quality engineering outcome for major projects between $10M and $100M within their Alumina Refining Capital Programme.

This assignment will cover an initial period of 12 months, on a Monday - Friday roster, with possibility of full-time at the conclusion of the contract.

To be successful in this role, you will require the following work experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil, Structural, Electrical or Mechanical) Degree.
  • Project management and/or contract/commercial management exposure or certifications favourable
  • 10+ years' experience in an engineering or technical field
  • 5+ years Engineering Design and Design management experience.
  • Experience in the alumina, mineral processing or heavy industry.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills


Other Experience Favouring Consideration:

  • Process development, Leaning of processes
  • Multidisciplinary design integration Services contract management
  • Construction quality control
  • Commissioning plans and package development and management
  • Experience in materials handling including conveyors
  • Experience in large earthmoving construction projects
  • Experience in design and construction of tailings storage facilities
  • Working knowledge of instrumentation & control engineering elements in process plant designs
