Chandler Macleod is proud to be partnering with their client in the Brisbane CBD for this incredible opportunity as Engagement and Communications Coordinator.

The Engagement and Communications Coordinator role has been created to support the Executive Leadership Team and Human Resources Team by providing administrative and tactical support across internal communications and event planning where the successful candidate will be immersing themselves in internal communication, engagement strategies and other key projects

Primary responsibilities:

  • Create engaging content, in line with the Clients Group strategy, for all internal communications and employee digital channels.
  • Improving, maintaining and updating the company's staff intranet, contractor intranet, websites and mailing lists.
  • Foster close working relationships with all team members and managers to enable you to identify newsworthy, educational or brand building stories for the FTR global staff intranet and monthly newsletter.
  • Lead the planning and successful delivery of various staff events and initiatives throughout the year.
  • Support the initiatives from the employee engagement committee with planning, writing communications and generating other engaging comms.

To be successful in your application for this position you will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing or related field. Relative experience will also be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience of 3-5 years in a marketing communications role or similar.
  • Experience in using DynamcisCRM, Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress
  • A record of successfully planning events, on time and on budget.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated understanding of news values.
  • Capability to build strong and effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across different cultures.
  • An ability to always maintain a positive outlook and working attitude.
  • Confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people.
  • Demonstrated flexibility to successfully deal with competing priorities.
