Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Employment Facilitator Management at APS6 - EL2 Level on a contract until June 2022 with potential extension.

Position Overview

We are looking for proactive individuals with highly relevant skills and knowledge who value creativity, collaborative working arrangements and getting things done. The successful candidate will work within the Delivery and Employer Engagement Division of the Agency, which is responsible for the frontline delivery of the department's employment programs and actively engages with key stakeholders to improve awareness and utilisation of our employment programs, and develops collaborative workforce strategies to meet the recruitment needs of employers. The Division performs a range of functions, including account and contract management, policy development, policy implementation and review, stakeholder engagement and local labour market intelligence gathering, which informs strategic, evidence-based responses to labour market needs and to advance government priorities.

Individuals with procurement, program and contract management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills are required to facilitate the procurement and contractual arrangements associated with the engagement and support of Employment Facilitators. The team will provide ongoing support to the Employment Facilitators, including providing policy advice and support, as well as to their State Office support staff, and will facilitate connections with National Office program and policy colleagues within the department and in other agencies as they require.
