About the Role:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking highly skilled and motivated A Grade Electricians to join the team. As an A grade Electrician, you will play a key role in the development or preventative maintenance practices, contributing to achieving best practices.
We are looking for A grade Electricians to be deployed under a contractor model and processes there own ABN.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain site equipment and machinery by perform preventative maintenance tasks as per schedule.
  • Troubleshoot machines and equipment by making an assessment of a problem and estimate duration of time to repair. Initiate a preventative maintenance action to prevent recurrence
  • Overhaul plant and machinery as required (disassemble, assess, repair, and reassemble machines, equipment and components).
  • Install machinery, tools, and equipment to specifications
  • Respond to machine breakdowns and take corrective action promptly
  • Be involved in all line setup activities (start up, height change, diameter changes) to ensure electrical activities/task are completed on time for a reliable start up.
  • Carry out modifications to machines and equipment under instructions from the Engineering Department

Pre-Requisites Knowledge and Experience:
 
  • Experience with PLC – preferably Allen Bradley
  • Experience with VSDs – Allen Bradley, Control Techniques,
  • Motor control experience – Schrage DC motors 
  • Pneumatics and hydraulics experience
  • Computer skills
  • High standard diagnostic skills
  • Experience with preventative maintenance systems
  • Highly involved and contributing team member

Successful Applicant Will Need to Have:
  • At least 2years experience
  • Must have your own ABN
