Electrical Service Technician

Are you open to opportunities?

In short, this role will lead operations whilst on-site, working independently and alongside the technician to install new, and service existing Hydrocarbon projects (fuel monitoring systems) throughout greater Northern Queensland.

Experience
o High level of communication skills
o On-site / field experience
o Ability to build on existing business with clients and identify new opportunities.

Duties
o Project installation - majority extra low voltage 24VDC + fuel flow and temperature monitoring systems
o Identify delays, variations or additional components that arise with projects.
o Commissioning and support for installations - field tech work as required e.g. change hose/fuel lines etc.
o Key technical point of contact for all customers including contractors.

Required
o Complete 2-week training in NSW (all expenses covered) + 2-months working side by side across all jobs with Electrical Service Technician in Mackay.
o Comfortable travelling between Bowen basin, Clermont, Middlemount, Emerald areas with possibility of occasional work in Mt Isa and Weipa - All expenses paid, incl living away from home allowance and company credit card

Other requirements
o Driver's Licence, Electrical Licence, First aid - CPR, Low voltage rescue
o Standard 11, QLD Coal Board Medical Section 4, Functional Capacity Evaluation
o Certificate in proficiency in the following areas: Electrotechnology, Electrical Fitting, MS Office
o Confined Space Training, Working safely at Heights - RIIWHS204E, Forklift National High Risk Work Licence, EEHA - Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas Training
o Certificate III/IV in Instrumentation and control
o Site Safety Supervisor Course (Formerly S123)
