One of our clients, a well-known entity in the Western Australian Mining Industry, is seeking the services of an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the Chandler Macleod Team on their Port Hedland Site.
This is an ongoing labour hire contract and can either be a residentially base role or ex-Perth only on an 8:6 roster.

Reporting to the Superintendent for Rail Execution, there is an opportunity for a Junior Engineer to be provide with the mentorship and training sought by someone at the commencement of their Electrical Engineering career in Mining.

You will be rewarded with:

  • Roster: Residential 5/2 or 4/3 FIFO ex-Perth
  • 9.5% Superannuation Contribution on ALL hours worked

  • Successful candidates will have the following experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 1-3 years' experience in an Electrical Engineer capacity in the WA mining industry
  • Very process driven
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent electrical knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • SAP Maintenance system or similar system
  • Have experience with PLC (Siemens), HMI/Scada, VSD.
  • Sounding understanding in mobile | moving rail machinery (electrics)
  • Working on BF welders
  • Experience in automations and process control equipment's and environment not necessary but highly regarded.

Candidates must also be able to:

  • Pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug Screen
  • Provide a current WA Drivers Licence
