About the role
We are partnering with a renowned global EPC organisation, delivering project expertise to upstream, midstream, chemicals, power, mining and minerals sectors. We seek a broadly experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer | Supervisor working specifically for one of their key minerals' clients in WA. This assignment will cover a period of 12 months, on a 2:1 roster, initially commencing in Perth and mobilising to site in November.

This resource will be required to mobilize straight to site for pre-commissioning and ongoing commissioning stages, examples of these activities will include but not limited to:

  • High Voltage commissioning experience
  • Materials Handling process plant commissioning experience
  • Experience with managing teams of Technicians
  • Experience with writing and development of commissioning procedures
  • Commissioning database/system experience desirable
  • Variable Speed Drive experience desirable

    To be considered in this role, you will require the following work experience:
  • 5+ Years' Experience in the Iron Ore industry in regard to process equipment and bulk handling of material.
  • Trade or Engineering Qualification (desirable)
  • A completions or commissioning background.
  • Experience with compiling commissioning procedures for mining equipment eg: Primary crushers, secondary crushers, lubrication and hydraulics, screening, water utilities etc.
  • Competency with the use of a Completions & Commissioning Management system (CCMS) (Desirable)

    Ideal candidates must also hold the following prerequisites:
  • Provide a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one
  • Provide a current Drivers Licence
