Chandler Macleod is currently recruiting for Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Construction Supervisor to join a leading Mining company based in the Northern Territory.

The purpose:

To provide support to Expansion project Team with construction supervision in the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) field to deliver project outcomes.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience for the position:

  • 10+ years site construction experience (within a E&I supervision environment)
  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical / Instrumentation
  • Australian licenses required for E&I Construction and Pre-Commissioning
  • Experience in underground projects is a requirement for the role.
  • Experience within the Mining industry, specifically for construction of process plants, underground infrastructure and knowledgeable with industry construction methods and procedures
  • Demonstrate ability to coordinate and multi task key deliverables and timelines within a multidiscipline team of field supervisors and contractors; accountable for the successful implementation of the project's construction execution philosophy and completions programme.
  • Good understanding and able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Proven record of consistently meeting quality, construction and schedule goals
  • Good organisational skills and able to keep clear and precise records and quality documentation

This role will be FIFO from NT, SA & QLD only due to current restrictions. Working hours are from 6.30am - 5.45pm, noting a 45 minute travel time each way (ie leave camp at 5.45 am and return back to camp 6.30 pm; the FIFO Roster is 8/6 or 2/2. On-site accommodation and messing are provided free of charge.
