Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an EL1 Strategic Change Implementation Manager on a contract for 12 months.

Position Overview

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Gathering and developing structured insights and recommendations for change design and implementation of projects.
  • Developing, implementing and evaluating project and change management requirements in accordance with the Project Delivery Framework and Change Management Framework.
  • Creating materials for senior internal and external stakeholders, including the Minister, Board and Executive Leadership Team to communicate perspectives, recommendations and implications for the Agency.
  • Presenting recommendations and facilitating discussions with a range of Agency stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Identifying, assessing and reporting change risks or issues.
  • Developing action plans and ensuring stakeholder alignment for enabling successful implementation.
  • Leading the tracking and evaluation of change management activities in the Agency and proposing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Influencing and advising project sponsors on effectively managing and implementing change.
Key Skills Required:
  • 2-6 years’ experience in transformation, design, change management and project management
  • Change and/or Project Management qualifications
  • Demonstrated success delivering against key performance indicators and delivering results within agreed time frame
  • Experience working in complex cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated success in building momentum for and delivery of change activity
  • Emotional intelligence in working with stakeholders and leaders at all levels of the organisation
  • Willing to get your hands dirty where required
  • Strong presentation
