Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS6,EL1 Policy Officer on a contract for 6 months with potential extension.
Suitable candidates are required to:
  • demonstrated program, project and/or contract management skills and expertise
  • secretariat experience for ministerial and senior officials' committees
  • understanding of relevant government policy, legislative and financial frameworks including Commonwealth procurement and Grant rules and guidelines
  • strong oral and written communication skills to clearly advise and influence stakeholders and decision makers
  • excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
  • sound research, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high quality work within tight timeframes
  • the ability to work independently and collaboratively to manage competing priorities and be resilient, responsive, and flexible
  • Integrity, initiative, and high level of personal responsibility.
