Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an EL1 Service Improvement Tester on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.

About the Role:

The EL1 Service Deisgn and Improvement Test Analyst is responsible for facilitating the User Acceptance Test (UAT) system enhancements. The position will lead a small test team in preparing for UAT activities, engaging with stakeholders to facilitate support for test execution and provide reporting results on testing progress.

The position is an important team leadership position within the department and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. It will provide the leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership and assigned Contractors working within the positions assigned Work Area.

The EL1 Service Design and Improvement Test Analyst is responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and may be required to represent and negotiate on behalf of the client to advance the client's interests across a range of forums.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Leading a team to deliver UAT artefacts and preparing for testing.
  • Preparing and reviewing test strategies, plans, coverage matrices and sign off reports.
  • Manage all testing activities and outputs through appropriate testing tools and escalating defects.
  • Using and promoting the use of agile methodologies in testing.
  • Developing and delivering training to UAT volunteers.
