About the role:

The EL1 Risk Infrastructure and Projects is responsible for coordinate and assume responsibility to undertake detailed or sensitive projects that may include performing varied activities involving many different and unrelated processes or methods that may impact on the strategic or operational outcomes that support the Agency's objectives. You will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. It will provide the leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership and assigned Contractors working within the Work Area.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Identify and document current business processes to create baseline understanding
  • Facilitate the identification of business requirements, monitor and collect data to develop business requirements for technical build
  • Evaluate effectiveness of proposed solutions and design at both a conceptual and tactical level in conjunction with stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Work knowledge of Archer platform
  • Maintain current expertise in Information Systems and applying this to the development, execution, and improvement of the Strategic Program
  • Lead workshops and train sessions with key stakeholders
  • Design and configure dashboards and reports for Agency staff as required to enhance existing information and further investigations
  • Provide risk reporting and insights to Agency Executives and the Board
  • Facilitate cross functional risk communications on risk management issues and initiatives

MANDATORY
  • Extensive experience working in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations
  • Experience in coordinating and assisting in the management of complex cases
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Working with Children Check. This is only applicable to some positions within the Agency that require the occupant to have access to classified Australian Government information.
  • The Agency Worker Screening Check. This is only applicable to some positions within the Agency that require the occupant to have access to classified Australian Government information.
  • Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) clearance - a vetting process undertaken before an individual may have access to classified information and resources. This is only applicable to some positions within the Agency that require the occupant to have access to classified Australian Government information.
  • Current Police Check, o ability to obtain one
