Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an EL1 Executive Officer on 12 months Non going contract or Section 26 transfers.

Position Overview

Ideal Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you will have had demonstrated experience in assisting senior executive, be used to managing a high volume of work including correspondence preparation, managing competing priorities and have an understanding of organizational processes.
High-level communication skills, both oral and written, will be integral to your ability to perform successfully. You will regularly assist with preparing and coordinating briefing materials for various forums. This can include preparing complex or sensitive correspondence, documentation, reports, submissions, and meeting papers.

Duties & Responsibilities:
the Executive Officer in the People Division, you will:
  • contribute to shaping the strategic direction of the People Division to achieve outcomes,
  • facilitate collaboration with key stakeholders and build strong networks while promoting the People Division’s business objectives,
  • support the Chief People Officer and management team on matters including staffing, internal budgets, and other corporate matters,
  • manage the workflow in and out of the People Division, ensuring all materials and briefings are received and actioned in a timely manner,
  • identify and address opportunities, risks, and emerging issues,
  • develop high quality communication products, and
  • work closely with the department’s Executive and their Executive Support team to identify and resolve issues that may impact the successful execution of Senior Executives’ responsibilities.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • To be eligible for employment, applicants must be Australian Citizens
  • The position requires a Baseline security clearance. The successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
