About the role:

The EL1 Business Analyst (Digital Delivery) will be responsible for developing and improving digital solutions to enhance the experience and objectives of Participants of the Agency. You will be part of the Digital Division, responsible for implementing enhanced digital applications on the Salesforce platform to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of providers, to support greater outcomes for participants. It enables the effective management of plans through digital platforms that interact with the Agency and relevant providers.


Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitate the identification of digital system related business needs and processes, monitor and collate data, identify competing demands, organisational changes and new responsibilities
  • Evaluate effectiveness of proposed solutions and design in conjunction with stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Provide project level analysis and producing required analysis documentation.
  • Work with stakeholders to capture business needs and translating requirements into User stories in a simple format that all stakeholders can understand.
  • Document end user journeys, process mapping from as-is analysis to future state processing and improving end user experience.
  • Design and deliver workshops, communication and consultation resources that support complex systems and business information gathering and sharing.   • Use and work with software platforms such as Jira, Salesforce, Mulesoft and SAP
 
MANDATORY

  • Experience working in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations
  • Ability to synthesise and analyse information, prioritising of Application Program Interface (API) requirements, ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy
  • High level engagement skills including planning, communication (written and oral), presentation, facilitation, evaluation and requirements writing.
  • Ability to be self-motivated, responsive and flexible in an environment with time pressures and multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • The Agency Worker Screening Check. This is only applicable to some positions within the Agency that require the occupant to have access to classified Australian Government information.
  • Current Police Check, o ability to obtain one
Desirable skills to have for the role:
  • Competent with IT systems including knowledge of Application Programming Interfaces
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
