Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an EL1 Assistant Director Executive and Corporate Communications on a contract for 12 months.

Position Overview

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of projects and business improvement initiatives, driving the strategic and coordinated management of targeted communications and engagement activities.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders through a communications and engagement business partnering model within the Agency, guiding the team with best practice ways to provide advice, quality assurance and support to business areas to meet their communication objectives.
  • Leading staff to deliver timely, innovative, efficient and evidence-based communications and engagement strategies, plans, content and activities that support Agency Corporate Plan objectives.
  • Using reporting metrics to review the impact of communication and engagement activity and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Preparing high-quality, clear and accessible written content that meets the needs of participants and other audiences and aligns with the NDIS brand.
  • Scanning and interpreting a complex government and social landscape to identify and mitigate reputational risks associated with, communication and engagement activities.
  • Identifying and mitigate reputational risks associated with communication, engagement and business activities.
  • Fostering creativity and innovation in content creation across a range of channels, sharing best practice and new skills in the team.
