We are currently recruiting for an experienced E&I Construction Supervisor, working an 8/6 roster with our client, one of Australia's largest producing gold miners.

About the Role:

  • FIFO from Perth or Darwin on an 8/6 roster
  • Provide supervision and coordination for the E&I scope of expansion project (Surface and underground)
  • Work directly with the construction contractors and sub-contractors teams to oversee the day-to-day activities.
  • Report to the Construction Co-ordinator, supporting issue resolution and improvements in a multi- discipline project environment.
  • Assure work execution status and progress reporting is accurate and aligns with priorities and milestones.
  • Identify issues associated with meeting execution, cost, and schedule objectives and provide recommendations to overcome any gaps.
  • Ensures facilities are constructed per applicable project industry and company specifications and standards.
  • Effectively manage and control change.
  • Quality control.

  • 10% Super on all hours worked

What you Bring:

  • 10+ years site construction experience (within a E&I supervision environment)
  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical / Instrumentation
  • Australian licenses required for E&I Construction and Pre-Commissioning
  • Experience within the Mining industry, specifically for construction of process plants, underground infrastructure and knowledgeable with industry construction methods and procedures
  • Demonstrate ability to coordinate and multi task key deliverables and timelines within a multidiscipline team of field supervisors and contractors; accountable for the successful implementation of the project's construction execution philosophy and completions programme.
  • Good understanding and able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Proven record of consistently meeting quality, construction and schedule goals
  • Good organisational skills and able to keep clear and precise records and quality documentation
  • Sound knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations
