About the role
We are partnering one of Australia's leading resources companies, to secure the services of an experienced Underground Mining Drill & Blast Engineer to be deployed at Leinster Minesite near in the Goldfields region of WA on a FIFO basis, commencing immediately.

The Engineer is to to assist with Drill and Blast, daily production, ventilation and scheduling, with responsibilities including:

  • Drill and charge designs for SLC and Block caving. Service holes designs.
  • Weekly production and integrated schedule
  • Drill and charge QA/QC
  • Ventilation assistance
  • Underground inspections
  • Weekly compliance to plan
  • Process and procedures review

This assignment is short-term (4 months) so requires a competent Engineer to hit the ground running.

To be successful in this role, you will require the following:

  • Mining Engineer with Drill and Blast experience (SLC preferably).
  • Deswik UGDB Drill and blast package user.
  • More than 3 years mining experience in Underground mines.
  • Provision of a current Drivers License and Australian working rights
