    We are looking for a Document Writer to provide support in Melbourne CBD.

  • The Document Writer for the Arbitration project will work closely with the Project Manager, Functional Design Team and vendors to document and produce arbitration material in order to support the implementation and ongoing delivery of the arbitration service.
    The Document Writer will oversee the planning, research, drafting and signoff of all documentation material required to deliver the arbitration service.
    Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide document writing expertise to guide the planning and ongoing management of this activity
  • Develop service documentation and other materials in accordance with legislation, policies & procedures and other service related documentation
  • Produce concise, accurate, complete and "easy-to-understand" service related documents e.g. guidance material, fact sheets etc for a wide variety of audiences (i.e. internal, service users, legal representatives etc) and media channels e.g. web and hardcopy content
  • Present draft documentation for project team and management approval
  • Provide reports on the work progress on a fortnightly basis or whenever required
  • Assist when required with the development of future templates
  • Support team concepts and interacts well with others (team player)
  • Liaise and provide assistance to members of the project working group team to help with their documentation requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in workplace document development, documentation review and signoff.
  • Demonstrated experience in complex change projects and programs.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively and to seek guidance when needed.
  • The ability to quickly learn technical concepts and apply them in concise English.
  • Excellent level of written and verbal communication and liaison skills.
  • Experience in government, legislation and policy highly desirable but not essential.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft office and Adobe Professional.
