Chandler Macleod are looking for Dock hands & Drivers based in Marleston for Morning and Afternoon shifts.
The role requires you to have strong attention to detail to assist in the accurate processing of freight, the ability to work both autonomously and in a team to ensure the efficient processing, unloading of freight.
All whilst ensuring that all Health, Safety and Environment Systems Policies and Standards are adhered to.
This is a casual role, flexibility with working hours will be required, up to full time hours available in Peak Periods.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Must have a current Police Check or be willing to gain one
  • Must be able to complete all online registrations and inductions
  • Must be able to pass Pre-employment medical screens including drug and alcohol screenings
  • Possess initiative and a strong work ethic
  • Prior experience within the Freight / Stores or Parcel Sorting Industries or similar
  • Ability to apply safe manual handling techniques for up to a 20kg lift
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication Skills

    Desirable skills and Experiences
  • A current MR/HR Class License
  • Current high-risk forklift license
  • Previous driver or courier experience
  • Vehicle loading and restraining experience
  • Vehicle safety Check experience
