About us
Our client is a premium Commercial Property Fund with a presence in the Asian market. They specialise in delivering high quality commercial property investments through its commercial property fund. They support clients with great returns to investors and platforms to keep track of their investments.

They are currently expanding and looking for an Business Development Director to join their team. The core focus of this position will be to identify and develop new business and investors for the fund. This position has market leading remuneration and uncapped bonus structure. The key focus is proven relationships with HNW and family office clients (ideally Chinese background or mainstream).


Role and responsibility
  • Raise funds for commercial property fund by building relationships with wholesale investors and Ultra High Net Worth clients
  • Lead the Fund-Raising process and manage key investors’ relationships
  • Work on deal origination strategies
  • Understand and promote product offerings, source funds, negotiate terms and close deals as required
  • Work with sales, marketing and client relationship management teams
  • Develop partnerships with referral partners such as lawyers, real estate agents, migration agents, etc 
Experience:
  • Bachelor degree in Finance/Business
  • 7+ years sales experience in Private Banking or funds management
  • Existing relationships with HNW and family office clients (Chinese background preferred)
  • Proven success in capital fund raising
  • Bi-lingual (English, Mandarin/Cantonese 
  • Strong sales personality and connections within the industry
