Our client AGL Energy are on the lookout for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join them on a contract basis. The purpose of this role is to manage the execution of day-to-day campaigns, this includes implementation and optimisation across paid search, social, display and video. This role supports the end-to-end digital campaign planning and delivery, ensuring flow and efficiency for campaigns activity across multiple departments and partners.

The role must champion the needs of AGL and work towards the achievement of AGL's strategy by delivering effective marketing that connect people with AGL's vision, values and business goals in ways that build engagement, pride, community and commitment.

Key accountabilities of this role
* Act as conduit between internal campaign teams, media agency, and external partners, supporting on all steps of digital marketing campaigns.
* Support the Marketing teams to effectively organize and manage creation and delivery of marketing campaigns, to budget and on schedule.
* Effectively organise and manage campaign delivery, budget, and schedules, and provide timely communication to relevant stakeholders.
* Support in measurement initiatives, helping drive performance across digital media channels with cross-functional teams to optimize the broader marketing plan
* Copywriting for SEM campaigns in collaboration with the media agency


Qualifications, key skills and experience required
* You're passionate about Digital Marketing, are an advocate for your client and you have experience in this type of role - paid Search and paid Social experience is a must.
* You have hands on tool experience across Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads & Microsoft Advertising
* You have exceptional interpersonal communication skills - both written and verbal- combined with the ability to relate to people at all levels and adapt your approach as required.
* Excellent planning and time management skills, you are comfortable working both autonomously and in a team.
* You have a strong ability to understand and manage the campaign delivery process, you are organised, have a strong attention to detail, a critical mindset and are adaptable.
* Analytics and project management skills are a benefit.
* You have an advanced knowledge of MS Suite.
* Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related field is required.
* Agency experience highly regarded.
